We stand behind Merry People products and guarantee them to be free from manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase.

Submitting a warranty claim:

If you believe your product hasn’t met our quality standards, please email us at [email protected] with the following:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase details
  • A photo clearly showing the issue

  • A photo of the entire product

  • A photo of the 5-number serial stamp, found:

    • On the underside or toe of the insole (for boots and clogs)

    • On the underside of the toe strap (for sandals)

A member of our customer service team will get back to you within 24 business hours. 


General conditions of our warranty:


  • Warranty is only valid for purchases made directly from Merry People or an authorised Merry People stockist (you will be required to produce your proof of purchase information)
  • Damage that is a result of misuse or not following the provided care instructions is not covered
  • You may be responsible for the return postage costs to send the product back
  • If your claim is approved, you will receive a replacement product (same or comparable) 

Australian customers only: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


Any benefits you receive under our Product Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies that you may have as a consumer under a law in relation to the footwear to which these warranties relate.
